Your text offers a foundation of understanding which allows me to look way beyond the day-by-day aspects of my experience, and have a witnessing approach to what we're going through. This makes sense of the larger patterns of human movement and consciousness. (Peter)
What a beautiful and thought provoking article David. It gives me some hope for all of us. I will share it with friends who have some understanding and appreciation of the profundity of astrology, or might be open to it. Anything we can share to bring hope now is so precious. Thank you!
Wow! This was an amazing article, David. You made the trends and important dates clear, so that even with my limited knowledge of astrology, it made sense. I don't know how you put so much information together in a readable form, but you did! Fascinating! Thank you.
Thanks for this article, David. As you know from our few sessions, I've been finding it difficult to separate from my experience of some of these influences enough to see/feel the "bird's-eye" view. It was such a relief to read that there really was one and it wasn't only my hope...
And it was lovely to see your references to Stan Grof. You might remember I trained in Rebirthing with one of his students in 1985 and found, among many other things, his model of Basic Perinatal Matrices to be a profound description of an embodied process I see reflected everywhere in the natural world.
Thank you David. This is a beautifully concise and helpfully articulated projection of how these cosmic archetypes are interacting and how they may play out. I am noticing embodied resonance with much of what you have written. Regarding your references to developments in AI, I thought you (and other readers) might be interested in a fascinating, visionary novel that considers the possibility of digitized hyper-intelligence developing sentiency and then confronting humanity to counter its self-destructive impulses. The novel is called Copernicus (by James Mahu), and can be found as a free pdf download here: https://moci.life/writings/copernicus/
With my limited knowledge of astrology, reading your piece was an absolute pleasure. The ease of your writing, paired with the comparisons you used to exemplify different time periods, really brought to life how these moments correlate with the characteristics of planetary energy and their effects on human behavior. I appreciate your efforts to engage both the novice and the amateur, offering just enough astrological jargon balanced with simplified terms for a broader understanding.
What stood out to me most was how your article provided both hope and a necessary alertness for the coming times—times that feel like they will be bittersweet, as you so poignantly put it. Birth yet death, celebration yet mourning. It’s a powerful reminder that those who can adapt easily and gracefully release attachments to the changes unfolding around us will benefit most from these ongoing shifts.
Your explanation of the hard and soft aspects, particularly when describing the blending of archetypes, was particularly resonant. By drawing historical comparisons, you made these concepts not only easier to understand but also deeply felt. I appreciated being able to visualize and comprehend how these planetary energies manifest through the lens of history.
Finally, because I’m reading this on Sept 21, 2024, I had the opportunity to go back and check the news archives for the specific dates you mentioned. It was fascinating to see how your predictions aligned with the social climate and events that unfolded on those very days. Your astrological insights truly held up, and I found it affirming and insightful.
Thank you for offering a piece that bridges hope with realism and makes complex astrological shifts accessible to all.
Thank you for this essay. This has given me a sense of hope. I know a little about the Aquarian energies which I can see playing out in today's world. I see some of Aquarians shadow energies such as the radicalism, extremism and violent demonstrations and a sense of more and more of our freedoms disappearing.
I have a sense of hope and encouragement from reading your essay, that our Universal energies are what are really in control and will guide us through this madness.

Thank you so much Paula!
David, this article is more than excellent on so many levels--beautifully written, so clarifying of the complexities, deeply wise...thank you so much!
Really appreciate that Janet.

Your article gave me permission to breathe again.
Love to you and Kate. Brookes
Glad to hear that Brookes, and nice to hear from you!

Thanks so much Gary. What a fascinating premise for that novel, one can hope!
